This is absurd,I was on a submarine and the air scrubbers remove everything from the air.We have air monitoring systems to test for all harmful air borne contaminants.It is absolutely INSANE to restrict or prohibit smoking on board subs. Besides the odor of a submarine is one you will never ever forget if you ever happen to tour one it is unique to only subs where the on board atmosphere is the PUREST anywhere to be found in any man made environment.
